Even though daps and bats didnt really mean anything, it gave incentive to post quality stuff. And when its crap, bats let ya know. It was just neat to have.

It didn't give any incentive. The only person who got a lot of daps for quality posts(AKA art) was Ryan.

Daps/Bats are just a popularity thing and a stupid, faceless way to make people feel bad. I did not care about negative rep obviously but I know other people did and it was complained about and some idiots thought there was a vast batting conspiracy etc.
No. It's not comin' back as far as I'm concerned. It was stupid.

Back when we had it, I always found it as incentive to try to make decent doodles in doodle chat. Instead you get posts saying like "lawl"

We're all guilty of that. I don't think we have many people now who'd crack under the pressure of bats. Hell we might get more people to actively stay on the forums just for the sake of getting daps.
