Top of the front page
This is what I see:
This is what I did to the source HTML.
I put it in the borderless, unpadded cells of a table. I also threw in alignments that are probably unnecessary. I haven't done HTML in almost seven years, but it worked and maybe that source up there can be used with whatever programs are being used now. It's just a few bytes of extra modifications and should not disrupt what you're working on.
Also, the borders in the image above are because linked images typically have a border, you have to put BORDER="0" in the IMG bracket to remove it.

Sure. Firefox. I'll go so far as to also say my resolution is 1280 by 800, and the rest of the page is just fine. Though, the featured Comic image link also needs to be borderless.
EDIT:
Internet Explorer has the same problem, and the featured comic link is a link rectangle instead of an image. Don't know what happened there.
Apple Safari looks great!
Google Chrome doesn't mess up either!
Sorry I jumped the gun there, but at least I could point out Firefox and Internet Explorer are messy tesses. All four browsers work with the table html code I linked to above, though.

This exact thing happened when Monocle first put up the new layout months back. He had to fine tune it for several of the more popular browsers. The site has just recently been moved to a new host and put back together, so I'd have to assume some of that tweaking went missing. I'll let Scott or Monocle know, if they don't see this thread first themselves.

What version of Firefox are you using? Looks fine on 11 (minus being a pixel out on the right).
Also I know IE looks fucked up. But yeah.

For what it's worth, the front page looks good on my Dad's version of Firefox, so there's that.

Additionally, alignment stuff gets kind of wonky when you zoom in/out too much, especially zooming in.
