Two. Has the better a and I don't like the USB symbol being there. I prefer 3's font though.

I don't really like the descender on the g not starting at the end, it bugs me. Also the a not flowing like the d and the m, but then I'm not really sure there's any way you'd be able to make that work without some serious playing around.

Also, the descender should either go the whole width of the logo or stop at the start of Digital. Stopping halfway through the d seems odd.

Well I hand made dmag so it's easy to fix.

I have an idea, I'm going to use the typeface from 3 (cause I like that more at smaller type, easier to read even though 2's goes with it more) adding a serif to the g, so it'll look like 2 with a serif and I'm fixing the bottom.

I'm going to be super finicky and say are all the letters the same width? Because it doesn't look it at first glance (I'm probably wrong). Also is the length of the middle part of the m based off any of the other measurements? Same with the g's serif. Also also, what is the bottom text aligned to?

Bottom text was originally aligned to the same x-height of the letters below the g, but now it's just even distance from the g's decender because I moved that to equal x-height below.

The "g" and "a" should be same length, m in the second one is to the same height as the a's like second line down. The "d"s ascender should be x-height once more high. So both the d and g are the same height overall.


g is probably too skinny and needs to be wider. a should be equal to d though. I just checked that? Unless thats in the AI file I have open right now. Haha. I'm working on like 5 things at one right now. I'll make those changes.

Four is probably the strongest one, more people are leaning towards 1 out of the original ones and since I CAN ONLY SHOW ONE TODAY I'd rather go with the one I think says it the best.

4 is by far the best. the negative space you bring into the first 3 affects readability and it doesn't really add anything to the design.

Here's some real client work. I need to tweak the text next to the image (I can't add text AT ALL by the way). It's just a bit of minor layout tweaking for text. it's going to fold like a newspaper with a little pocket in the back for the ticket on the side.

I was wondering if you guys preferred:

Or something else for the ticket. I'm waiting for confirmation on the schedule. I also, need to see what the RSVP looks like, since someone else is desinging that. :U

The wine Label (bottom right) is almost done to their likeness. So things like type and all that were already selected from the client (They had about ten or so to pick from and then I tweaked a bit, there's a bit of custom kerning I still gotta play with so if you notice anything tell me) so the type selection can't really budge a lot (also because the other chick has it).

The main invintation is going to be printed on off white, they'll be in oatmeal envelopes, the ticket is going to be printed out either on that color paper or just pantoned if this CHICK DOESN'T FUCKING TELL ME WHAT PAPER SHE GOT.

SHE SAID SHE WOULD DO THAT. She also hasn't emailed me the fucking sketches for the luggage tags I drew up. SO LAME. Ugh, I hate this chick I'm working with. :U The rails on the side of Rings and Rail's is a tying element, the Silver Splendor is an actual part of the stuff. So yeah.

Final sizes are: 5x7" invitation. About 2x4.5" train tickets, 4x6" RSVP ticket w/ 4x6" envelopes, and the wine label has to be black and white and I don't remember the size, I just know that I kept it.

That looks fantastic. Newspapers don't always have the outline box for the article, more like vertical lines separating columns of text. And odd filigree stuff at the tops.
