That's why I don't like taking a melee-range initiator unless I'm playing with at least 2 friends.

Was thinking I might add a new one to my rotation, so I'm looking for opinions. Based on my list, is there a champion you would recommend? Is there a type of champion that would round out my list and make me a more versatile player? Is there a champ that's super-awesome that you love? Lemme know what you think.

Lulu, Ahri, Veigar if you want more versatility.

My outright favorite champs are:

Trundle (super jungler and respectable DPS/debuffer)
Malzahar (Nuker, excellent zoner)
Singed (Tank and magic DPS. Relies entirely upon serving up squishes to your team and knowing how to goad people into chasing you without dying.)
Nautilus (Straight tank and disabler. I usually buy defense/support hybrid items)
Talon (I suck with him but play him anyway. Has mana and build cost issues.)

Probably because Soraka is a support character and she's supposed to rely on teammates.

And Nami. It is entirely because she is a spellcasting goat.

It honest to God has more to do with her being support and healtastic. I tend to play those kinds of characters. If I had any other support/healers right now, I'd have played them instead. Soraka's model is hideous.

Soraka works better with some lanes than others. Also, if your AD carry is playing like shit, it makes her irrelevant anyway.

I think this is true for every support except for Soraka because she has a global ult which basically turns every close fight into a win. I also find she leaves the most room for your teammates to be bad out of all the support characters.

Though if your AD carry is playing bad and the game goes past 35mins you basically lose no matter what.

You could slap a philosopher stone on him early or run mana-regen runes if it's a problem. I haven't had that much a problem with it, although early game it's most noticeable. Just conserve your Ws until you're level 4 or so and can get a good burst combo off of one. As for his build cost yeah he needs farm or kills real bad.

Ended up getting Sivir (cheap) and Malphite (more fun than I thought). Thanks!
