Not sure if I've met the minimum postcount required for anyone to care who I am, but I'm trying get more involved with the forum so here's a late bandwagon thread. Ask things at me!

In the N64 version, I mained Kirby and Ness was my secondary. Occasionally used Pikachu but not often.

In Melee, I mained Pichu and Ness was still my secondary (though I win more with Ness). Also used a decent amount of Mario in this one, and in the past few years I've had fun with Bowser.

In Brawl, Ness finally became my main (with Pikachu at #2 being a depressing Pichu replacement). In the past couple months, the game (in Project M form) has made a comeback during lunch break at work, and I've started using Bowser and Yoshi a lot.

So in terms of non-pokemon, Ness is easily on top, followed by Bowser, Yoshi, and Mario (though he needs to lose the F.L.U.D.D.).

It's the beginning of my last name, and then "company". Back in sixth grade I got into drawing race cars and needed fake company names to write on them. I kept using it because it's rarely taken... but to be honest I'm always in the market for a more appealing username. Feels weird posting as a "company" and not a "person".

Bowser is very fun in Project M and Melee, but definitely M. So satisfying to land an f smash, so fun to abuse armor frames. That d tilt.

I have a coworker who always chooses Sonic when he sees me pick Bowser. His strategy rarely pays off... Bowser just swats him into the background.

If you could live anywhere in the world, today, where would it be and why?

I know it would be adventurous and exciting to pick some faraway exotic locale, but my choice is a lot closer to home, for sentimental reasons. I'd choose my grandparents' property.

In the late 80s, they purchased an overgrown lot on the banks of the Hudson River, a little south of Albany, New York. It was the site of a 19th century ice house, so there are a bunch of old foundations and rotting bulkheads and other classic industrial artifacts around the property. There was an old house there, which they knocked down. For the next few years, my grandfather and uncles and anyone willing worked together on weekends and summers to build a new house on the foundation of the old one.

Since then, the place has been a vacation and party spot for all of our extended family and friends. We've used it for boating, swimming, camping, putting on fireworks shows... a significant chunk of my best childhood memories took place up there. But a few of us are starting to become concerned about what will happen to the place when my grandparents are no longer around.

My grandmother insists that if the house is passed down in her will that it be split evenly between her five children. But a couple of them have since moved out of state and have no interest in keeping the house. The ones that would like to keep it in the family don't have the money to buy the others out, because the property has appreciated in value quite a bit since the 80s.

So, if I could live anywhere right now, I'd want to take ownership of that property, in order to make sure that it stays around and brings joy to our family for a few more generations at least. Not to mention heading off any potential sibling drama that might be looming down the road.

Some photos:
Clearing the lot, before construction
During construction
Building a deck (My grandpa made those ship and anchor railing cutouts himself)
Final house (The concrete on the ground is actually the floor of the old ice house. Place was huge, and the existing house sits right in the middle of the old foundation.)
Remains of 19th century piers
Various metal parts sticking out of the rocks

Never heard of 'em, sorry.

I don't really keep up with the music industry because my favorite bands did all their best work well before I was born, and now they are old. Occasionally I'll buy a CD from an artist I like in hopes of discovering some overlooked good songs that never play on the radio.

10! But really, I think Scyther is stuck at an 8 until they allow it to learn Fly.

Is there an actor that you really like and would like to have a meal with? (Voice actors count)

Also, is there any food that you are allergic to?

I hear some of his stuff hasn't been that great lately, but Adam Sandler always seemed like a genuinely nice guy to me. He'd probably be cool to hang out with.

Not that I know of. I'm a bit cautious around seafood I haven't tried, because my dad gets terrible reactions to some of it. Why would someone's throat close up as a "survival reaction"? Bodies are dumb.

Anyways, I think I just inherited my mom's allergies rather than my dad's. My mom is allergic to pretty much eeverything, but not in dangerous ways. Just "my nose is eternally either running or completely blocked unless I take a pill every day" sorts of ways.
